High Point Inn is in the country between the villages of Ephraim and Sister Bay. This is a convenient location right in the heart of Door County’s main attractions. You are not far from fun at High Point Inn.
On the other hand, some may prefer a different location. High Point Inn is inland. This means that it is not on the water and has no water views. If you want a water view, you should look for another property.
Also, if you want walkability, High Point Inn is not your best bet. It is not in walkable distance to many restaurants or attractions.
That’s why I gave High Point Inn 4 out of 5 stars for location. On the whole, it has a good location. But, some visitors may prefer other locations for water views or walkability.

I really appreciate five things about the facilities and amenities at High Point Inn:

High Point Inn is a modern building, but it has old-world charm. The spindles on the front porch make you feel like you’re staying at a classic, old Queen Anne style home.
I also like the fireplaces in each room. This makes High Point Inn a great place to stay in Winter. Imagine warming up by the fire after an afternoon in the snow! The fireplaces are also nice throughout much of the year. Things can be chilly even in early June and late September.
The suite-style accommodations means that there’s plenty of space to spread out. Perfect for families.
A kitchenette shouldn’t be underestimated as a feature at a Door County Hotel. During the prime tourist season, local restaurants can be overwhelmed. Often, it’s better just to cook your own favorite meals.
Finally, the indoor and outdoor pools means that you can enjoy a swim in any kind of weather. This is a great feature especially for families.
